The Student Hotel is a comfortable, safe and fun place to sleep, eat, drink and make friends for life. The Student Hotel biedt volledig ingerichte kamers voor internationale studenten voor een periode van 5-10 maanden (1 of 2 semesters). Vrijwel alle kamers bieden toegang tot een luxe gezamenlijke keuken of zijn voorzien van een eigen kitchenette. Daarnaast is een deel van de accommodatie gedurende het gehele jaar beschikbaar voor regulier hotelverblijf door toeristische en zakelijke hotelgasten. Een deel van deze kamers wordt aangeboden voor residential short stay; hierbij richten wij ons op expats en (young) executives voor een verblijf vanaf een week tot maximaal 12 maanden. In juli en augustus zijn vrijwel alle kamers beschikbaar voor reguliere hotelverhuur en short-stay.
The Student Hotel is een ambitieuze, snel groeiende hotel organisatie met vestigingen in Luik, Den Haag, Rotterdam en Amsterdam (circa 1.650 kamers). In Augustus 2015 opent The Student Hotel Amsterdam City (570 kamers). Het is onze doelstelling om 10.000 kamers te exploiteren in Europese universiteitsteden in 2020. Nieuwe locaties zijn inmiddels al gepland in Barcelona, Parijs, Groningen en Eindhoven. The Student is een innovatief concept dat inmiddels met diverse internationale prijzen bekroond is. Job Description
We are looking for an intern to assist us in our latest Collab Workspace, in The Student Hotel Rotterdam. Our mission is to create boundary-blurring spaces where students, travelers, mobile professionals, creative nomads and enterprising minds can connect and thrive in smart design co- living and co-working spaces. Following the launch of co-working space TSH COLLAB, The Student Hotel is now a Complete Connected Community. TSH Collab in The Student Hotel Rotterdam is open!
Your responsiblities:Managing daily operations;Maintain TSH Collab look & feel;Managing location team: Front of House & Intern;Contract management: cancellations, renewals, expansions;Check in and out members;Community Management: get to know your members, community events, drinks etc;Administration: invoicing members, managing costs;(Bi) weeklies with the different departments;Customer Satisfaction;Handling issues;Be present at (community)events;Assist in finding local partners and ambassadors.

Job Requirements
Hospitality minded with an enthusiastic and open approach;Good knowledge and control of English is required;Well-developed social and communicative skills, you are aware of international cultural differences and are able to act upon these flexible and hands on mentality;You enjoy receiving and taking responsibility and you are capable of working independently;Strong and friendly personality, able to handle busy (peak) periods;Enjoy working in an ambitious, informal and international environment;Accurate with a keen eye for detail;Some hospitality background, preferably in a hotel environment.We aim to create a vibrant international team; both Dutch and international staff (you need a BSN number) are welcome to apply.
